I work in a variety of ways with my music and would like to let you know a bit more in case you'd like to contact me. I teach drum workshops for groups (age can vary widely and I'll adjust accordingly). Styles I usually work in are: African drum ensembles, Brazilian Samba, Samba Reggae and Afro Latin percussion. If I write about it on this site, I can also teach about it as well. In addition, I do teach individual lessons. I also can teach piano/keyboards and recording technology.
I also enjoy collaborating on original music. I play a variety of percussion, of course, but also play drum kit, keyboards (Hammond B3, Wurlitzer Electric Piano, Synths, acoustic piano, clavinet, etc.), guitar, bass and vocals. I have taken the role of Producer and Engineer as well and am very into recording in the studio. I work in Pro Tools, but have also worked with analogue multi-track tape and have my own studio setup that I work in regularly. I also perform live regularly as well.
My compositions are available to license for Film, TV and Video projects. I have also been hired to compose original music for specific placements. So if you have an idea about working together in one of these ways, feel free to contact me.
Here is an example of the use of my music in a short film, it is a recording of mine called "Azul Yambu" and is used from 5:55-7:18 in this documentary:
